Jaime Pericás has over 30 years of experience in the health care industry. His current practice is focused on promoting the development of intelligent health care ecosystems through digital transformation and healthcare management solutions marketing to health systems and payers. He is former Vice President of the commercial sales organizations of Triple-S Blue Cross Blue Shield of Puerto Rico, Medical Card System, and Humana, where he also led Medicare Sales. He also served as Senior Vice President for the employee benefits practice of HUB International’s Puerto Rico office.
Jaime holds the professional designations of Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMS) by the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS); Health Insurance Associate (HIA), Managed Healthcare Professional (MHP), and Fellow, Academy for Healthcare Management (FAHM) issued by AHIP (America’s Health Insurance Plans). He is also a licensed life and health insurance broker in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the State of Florida. Jaime attended the University of Puerto Rico – Río Piedras and the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he completed a Master of Science in Sociology of Organizations and Economic Sociology.
He is a member of the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and of the Health Financial Management Association (HFMA).
