Chad is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 25 years’ experience leading in many healthcare settings including academic medical centers, community trauma centers, rural hospitals as well as faith-based, for-profit and not-for-profit health systems. Chad is currently the President and CEO of ABH, Inc. in Middletown, CT, a leading healthcare services and solutions company for government agencies and healthcare providers. He is also the Founder and President of AspireResults, a healthcare advisory firm that supports healthcare companies, hospitals and health systems to improve financial performance, governance, culture and overall operations. Chad has been an executive coach, and has led and worked with many high-performing boards and teams throughout the country. He understands what it takes to be successful.
Previously, he was a health system President and CEO for over 15 years at Saint Mary’s Health System in Waterbury, CT, Trinity Health in Hartford, CT, Pipeline Health in Dallas, TX and most recently at Beth Israel Lahey Health in Cambridge, MA. Chad has led several successful margin improvement initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, integrations, financial turnarounds, physician partnerships and community outreach efforts in national and regional health systems. He has also led consulting projects including M&A, integration, culture transformation, organizational redesign and financial recovery/margin improvement projects with hospitals, health systems and post-acute care companies across the country.
Chad is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He enjoys coaching and mentoring our next generation of leaders and giving back to healthcare. Chad was a past member of Vistage for 10 years, a past Chair of the Greater Waterbury United Way, and has served on many charitable and community boards.
Chad played collegiate football and received a bachelor degree in Biology, a master degree in community health education and a master degree in business administration from West Virginia University. He enjoys spending time with his family and coaching youth football and basketball. Chad is married, and he and his wife, Teresa live in Cheshire, CT with their six children.
